The American perspective of human resource management is gear towards the shareholder. The American human resource management style is designed to serve and protect the interest of shareholders. The American human resource management style is focused on performance (Uysal, 2016). The airlines main goal is to please its shareholders, all human resource system are design with the aim of satisfying shareholders. According to Uysal (2016) most firms in the United States including air lines are deregulated, they have autonomous human resource management style and they hold a liberal market view. Us airlines are now accommodating personnel and practices of their strategic partners in order to fully exploit the benefits of their partnerships.Budget and regional airlines on the other hand have used a dynamic human resource system to achieve their goals. Their small size make it easier for them to adjust to changes while maintaining industry wide standards. Because they do not serve a diverse group of people and are focused on a specific market there is no need for simultaneous Human resource management systems. Their ability to structure human resource to suite new challenges is key to their growth. The fact that they operate mostly within the United States they practice more of a convergence human resource policy than a divergent human resource
