When considering Ted Bundy and the capital punishment, I believe that this is a perfect example of a person that should be sentenced to death. He admitted to killing 30 people but could have killed up to if not more than 100 people in a four year period. He showed no remorse after bludgeoning, raping and almost killing a woman at the University of Washington. He then went on to kidnap and kill many other women. Bundy was finally executed via the electric chair by the state of Florida in 1989. Bundy had killed people in Utah, Washington, Idaho, Colorado, and Florida. Bundy was a well educated man. He attended college at the University of Puget Sound, and then transferred to the University of Washington. He graduated from UW in 1972 with a degree in Psychology. He also worked at the Seattle Suicide Hotline. Bundy had ample knowledge of what is right and wrong. He knew exactly what he was doing and deserved to receive the maximum punishment of death. The families of the people he killed will never get their loved ones back, but at least they have solace in knowing that the man that committed those vicious acts is dead and can never hurt another person. There were an estimated five survivors of attacks committed by Ted Bundy. These people will be not only physically but also mentally scared the rest of their lives.
