My Weakness Of Life

You step out of your car, it is a beautiful sunny day out, the clouds are perfectly white, and the grass is well cut on your front lawn. You walk up to your sidewalk to your two story, half brick house which is in the suburbs of Madison, Wisconsin. You unlock the door and you are first greeted by you big huge golden retriever puppy who is running straight at you. Your beautiful wife is already home from work with the kids cooking what smell like a great meal for dinner. You then sit down and watch television and play with the kids until supper is ready. Stress-free, you do not have to worry about money, you love your family, friends, career, and your life in general. That is the kind of life I picture myself living in the future. First, when I am disinterested, or already know something, it is very hard for me to get things done. I get easily distracted by things I am very interested in and forget about the things that might be useful in the long run because I am disinterested. Another weakness of mine is time. I do not have a lot of it. I am a graphic design, and a computer science major, who works two jobs, all while playing a sport at the same time. Time is another thing that might get in the way of my future goals. I sometimes do not pay attention to the smaller things that might not necessarily be so critically important, but still useful to my goals in the long run. Then there are opportunities, my life is filled with opportunities. I need to look at this SWOT analysis and figure out how I can use my strengths and correct my weaknesses to get the best out of my life. I need to start looking at college as an opportunity. I have to realize that this is not just regular old school. That this is where I will be learning and perfecting skills to help me reach my own personal goals in life. Each short term goal gets me a step towards my long term goal, and each long-term goal ultimately gets me to my lifetime goal or the person I truly want to be. So first are my short term goals. I obviously have tons of short-term goal, but my main short term goal is to graduate college with a degree that I enjoy and can do something with. So many time now I hear stories about people getting college degrees and having depressing jobs where they do not even need a college degree to work. My goal is to graduate college with a degree that I can then find a career that I enjoy. I have decided to double major in Graphic Design and Computer Information Systems. This will allow me to have a career that not only pays well but one I enjoy doing as well. Double majoring will allow me to have more than enough skills to complete my job. But I also have to complete my classes to get those majors first. Getting past each class and learning as much as possible are also goals for me. Doing this would allow me to reach my short-term goal in the best way
