1. Stakeholder loyalty impacts Napavine School District’s performance in a variety of ways. For this answer, I will focus on two stakeholder groups: students and staff. Students must trust and have a connection with the school system, staff and administrators in order to be loyal to the Napavine brand. Every event or activity requires this loyalty. Students who attend school assemblies must believe in the system or chaos will ensue. Students who are not loyal will act out inappropriately and disrupt the event. Napavine School District determines student and stakeholder satisfaction by using surveys. We ask our stakeholders to identify areas of satisfaction and areas of dissatisfaction. We have found that students, parents and staff members are most satisfied with the quality of staff and least satisfied with the access to technology. This information helps our school board and superintendent make decisions on what to include in a bond and where funding should be allocated in the future. This past year, we funded a full-time IT employee to improve our technology resources. This move should improve our stakeholders’ overall satisfaction in that area. Napavine School Distinct uses information about stakeholder satisfaction for improvement initiatives by posting the survey results online and publishing the results in our district newsletter that goes out to all community members. In this way, stakeholders can see firsthand which areas are of concern and what we plan to do with that information. For example, when we ran our last bond, we expected our stakeholders to want a brand new building, but after our survey, we realized that our stakeholders would prefer to remodel our existing structures and put more money into improving our technology infrastructure. When we run our next bond, we will not ask our stakeholders to fund new construction. Instead, we will remodel our existing structure and put more emphasis on improving our technology. Staff members who use class surveys have changed how they organize their classroom, discipline measures and/or classroom
