Introduction
Spirituality is a core element to patients’ experience of illness and death. Giving attention to the well-being of patients and to the spiritual dimension of health is essential to end-of-life care. Patients suffering from death anxiety begin to evaluate the need for meaning and purpose, the need for forgiveness and the need for love.
