In order to incentivize employees to do this, the company provides a credit of 2 hours of paid time as a credit for their first visit with their PCP.
In addition, completing a physical earns employees credit for deductible expenses, deposited in their Health Reimbursement Account by Skills Inc.
Vera Whole Health - Skills Inc. has partnered with Vera Whole Health to provide employees with easy access to preventive care services. Starting a pilot program at their Ballard location, with plans to expand to other locations.

Year-round activities – The program supports a year round list of activities that include 5k walks, different exercise activities and “Lunch and learn” sessions.
4. Assistance for behavior change:
Smoking cessation - As part of the wellness program Skills provides assistance for Smoking Cessation by informing employees of the Quit for Life program available through Group Health and a program available through the American Lung Association. The company also reimburses employees who want to quit for any co-pays paid to obtain smoking cessation medications, patches, nicotine gum, etc.
In order to ensure longevity of a smoking-free lifestyle, Skills provides employees a bonus of $200 at the 6 month tobacco free
