Boys and teens are so pressured in society to get as many girls and they like, and become a player, someone who plays around with multiple people at the same time. Even in the media, TV shows always represent young adolescent boys as into partying and having fun, and that these activities even carry out into their adulthood. This affects many single dads because when approached by certain kinds of people, they are usually in awe when finding out that they raise their child all on their own. Stereotypes about men being uninterested in children stem from the fact that life will be easier and amusing when men aren’t tied down to any long-term responsibilities. On a popular social networking site known as Twitter, which allows people to tweet, or send their thought and ideas publicly online, Ashton Kutcher, a famous actor stated, “There are NEVER diaper changing stations in men’s public restrooms…” and then ended which the hashtag, #BetheChange. This statement opens eyes to subjects such as why do men’s bathrooms not include diaper changing stations. One of which the answers could be, men are not interested and it is a women’s job, (which it is not), to change the diaper. Due to these beliefs, a single father’s status of parenthood can be questioned because people find it hard to believe that these fathers aren’t
