Similarities between Joseph Stalin, Adolf Hitler, and Benito Mussolini

Joseph Stalin, Adolf Hitler, and Benito Mussolini all three were major dictators that made a huge impact in what we know as history today. Their leadership skills and ways of persuading the public were all different , but had some similarities. All three used propaganda and mainly focused on economic policies and the problems that the country faced with the government. Mussolini and Hitler shared more similarities to each other than Stalin shared with the both of them. All three of them were against democracy mainly because democracy gives the people freedom of speech and the ability to overthrow a leader.

Hitler rose to power in 1920s and started his dictatorship by speaking to a group of people. According to the document,"Within a few months the Nazis have established a dictatorship. Non-Jewish Germans who are not involved with politics have little to fear. Political opponents are much worse off. The Nazi government has imprisoned many of them, murdering some." Hitler became the leader of the Nazi party and started his dictatorship. He eventually had options for the people of Germany that determined the work they did, such as work that was given to you with no option or the camps. Hitler was known for his concentration camps and the punishment he gave to the Jews because of who they are. Though the culture of Germany changed quite drastically, Hitler banned all books that gave idea of communism or socialism. The education in that country was taken over too, Hitler focused more on the youth because they were more impressionable than the adults. Both Mussolini and him focused on education and the youth because they wanted their ideas to be taught. However during Hitler's reign the wages of the employed increased by 10.9% compared to the work drought Germany was in caused by WWI.
