Discuss the major hindrances in the lives of Moses and Joshua and compare them to your own life and experiences.

Moses and Joshua had major hindrances when God called on them to led the Israelites to the Promise land and compare the two prophets to my very own life experiences. Studying Moses and Joshua led God’s people to the promise Land had major difficulties. First, Moses began his life as an adopted son to the Egyptian court. But when she hid him no longer, she got him a wicker basket and cover it over with tar and pitch. Then she put the child into it and set it among the reeds by the bank of the Nile (Exodus 2:3), however the daughter of the Pharaoh came down to bathe at the Nile, with her maidens waling alongside the Nile; she saw the basket among the reeds and sent her …show more content…
Moses was living a prosperous life with the Pharaoh King and his servant. Knowing God planned for him was never forgotten with the covenant with God, Abraham and his people breaking away from the Egyptians. He ran away from the Egyptians guard after he killed them living in Midian. The importance the burning Bush symbols Gods fire for his people. The angel of the Lord appeared to him in a blazing fire for the midst of a bush; and he looked, and behold, the bush was not consumed. The Lord had a mission for Moses, though Aaron will be the speaker for the Lord, for Moses and freeing his people from Egyptians. Moses had many hindrance from public speaking to powers by God. Moses was very argumentative with God whether he was suited to lead his people. Every point Moses made, God always provided an answer that follows. Here are Moses excuses: 1. Who Am I talking to Pharaoh. 2. Why am I doing this? 3.
