What is Better Than Recycling? No, wait before you dump the trash! Have you ever been told to sort through your trash? Not all, but a few have. Several families recycle all the time, unlike others. Some people may not even know what recycling is or know of the innovations that is involved. Most people do not because they think it does not change much and others do not because they do not get paid for it. Many would like to propose that recycling should be mandatory everywhere in the United States. What citizens do not know is that when they are recycling, they are contributing big help to their environment. Recycling could help reduce the size of landfills, conserve natural resources, and lastly it can bring together different groups and communities (“Recycling” 1). Recycling help lower the pull on the community. As the population continue to grow, it will eventually become too hard for the landfills to hold because it will be so much trash; which will cause health problems in their community. It helps decrease pollution little by little. There are materials that may not look reusable, reused! Things like old bottles or rubber tires are common features of many landfills. Recycling gives items chances to be used repeatedly so that new materials do not have to be made. Water, oil, gas, coal, and other minerals are all examples of natural resources that are conserved.
