It takes more water to recycle newsprint than to make it afresh”, so why exercise a project that does not even improve our surroundings? It is mind-boggling to think of how much money is spent on programs to carry out
Hershkowitz’s allegation that many American’s see using fresh materials, for example: newspapers, destroy habitats of wildlife, but in “Recycling Does Not Conserve the Environment” it explains that when the companies take down the trees, many were planted specifically for that particular reason. Since it is possible to replant trees, choosing against recycling is not as severely hurting the environment like many American’s think.
Also, since the author of the article “Recycled Materials Produce Less Pollution” says that making recycled items includes 99.5% water, this shows that recycling companies are relying on water that could just as well be a habitat to animals like the tress may be to some,
