Social was my highest by far with 52, conventional was 29, and investigative was 28. The school psychologist SDS code according to Holland was either SEI or SIE, which is a little different than what I got. My enterprising code was a mere 17, the second lowest after realistic being 8. Even though I did not score high on the enterprising portion of the SDS, I think overall my personality is pretty similar to that of a school psychologist. The SDS described that a “school psychologist often must persuade and influence others (teachers, administrators, parents) to adopt and use strategies that will benefit children. In doing so, they are guided by science and research in the field and strive to use only evidence-based practices” (Toomey, Levinson & Morrison 423). I believe that I am capable of these characteristics even though I did not score exactly perfect to reflect that of a school psychologist. I am passionate about benefiting children and am capable of using evidence-based
