When other kids where asked what they wanted to be when they grew up normally they would reply with their dream job. Because I had no clue what job I wanted I decided that I wanted to be happy. My goals, I admit are very basic, but they are what I want out of life that will make me happy. The main goals are falling in love and staying in love, adopting dogs, raising children, and staying close to my family. I knew that, if I am going to reach all these goals I am going to need a job to achieve them. A well paying job to take care of my family. Just last year, I finally found a career path I now I can thrive in. Recently, have been very focused on the idea of majoring in psychology. I do believe that I can find a good or better yet a great job majoring in that field. I have not settled on exactly what job I want it pursue with my future psychology degree. Though I have settled on a major I wish to pursue which is psychology. I either plan to minor in business or double major in business and psychology The overall plan is to get a bachelor degree than a master degree in psychology; I know its a bunch of work but I can handle it. The psychology major is what going to help me reach my career goals. So, the main reason why I picked this major is because I come from a large family. I am the last child at of five. As, I stated before I want to get a good job to take care of my family but I settled on the job of family counseling. I did that because coming from a big family I am very family orientated. The idea of having a job that will support my family and help others family is amazing. That why I choose to major in psychology.
