It is an old English saying. The whole idea of astrology is that the stars have something to do with what happens to us, they used to think that the stars governed events that happened here on earth.

Scene 1: 3. At the beginning of the first scene, Gregory and Sampson (servants of Capulet family) are fighting. Sampson is the one who bites his thumb as Abram (servant of Montague family) as sign of disgrace them. 4. Benvolio is the person who tries to break up the fighting by saying to Sampson and Gregory that they don’t know what they are doing. 5.
