It is well known that a motivate worker is a happy worker, then a happy employee is a productive employee too. This fact is going to lead that the productivity of a company increases continuously. As warns Heathfield if an employee does not feel he or she is growing, he or she will head for the exits. Two main strategies seem to have been the key to maintains motivation in their employees. Disney company more often has applied the motivation to its employees applying the method of the job rotation, which consists in moving its employees from one job to another specialized. " The Disney institute trying to follow the words of its leader wanted to get the best quality from its workers. Thus, the Disney institute has established a motivation job rotation program for its beginner’s employees, which Disney company’s philosophy is to make an impact that really matters (Talking Point,2014). The motivation rotation program is addressed to recent graduates professionals of Universities. It has a duration of two years. Its main objective is to provide them a joint learning experience and cross functions within different departments of the company. As regards, these analysts participate in four different rotations with six months long each one. Working in the program, employees will succeed in developing technical and leadership skills, a key that is needed to succeed in the many businesses of Disney.
In order to get the best candidates, Disney company offers total guarantee that the participation in this program will display the best results. Employees will gain diverse kind of experiences, building expertise, professional development, expanding Network, and formal Mentorship. The method of motivation through job enrichment. Then, the method that Google is practicing to motivate its employees seems to be the job enrichment, but focusing in job satisfaction which is associated with the achievement, recognition characteristics of the work, and performance (Kinicki & Fugate, 2012).
However, according the handbook written by the Vice President of Human Resources Google, Laszlo Bock, it describes a new policy work that Google has implemented to its personal management to increase productivity and enhance the benefits of the company. These would be the main strategies to increase staff performance:
- Guarantee freedom to people when they are working, that means letting employees work in peace in order to increase their creativity. Employees can act according to their own criteria and they may break the rules if necessary.
-Create a learning institution where the employee builds their skills and can transmit through the others member of the team.
-Promote family reconciliation., Google focus importance to the family of employees and their personal lives allowing employees to take their children to day care centers subsidized within the
