My Life In Ted Talk By Adichie

Ever just get caught up thinking about a moment in life that has changed life around for the better or worse? I believe in family;family doesn't have to be blood related, family is something that one can choose or that 1 person that we can choose to love, support, cherish and welcome into a home.Adopting my brother Isaiah has left a big impact on me and my family and has definitely changed are moral growth and perspectives for the better.
After watching Adichie's ted talk I realized that she had experienced a very memorable pivotal moment in her life. Adichie’s pivotal moment shifts the speaker's perspective and contributes to her moral growth because it's something that she can't forget. In the TedTalk,We Should All Be Feminist Adichie begins speaking about a pivotal moment and states that “men rule the world'. When Adichie was 9 years old in 4th grade her teacher announced that whoever got the highest grade on a test would get to be the class monitor, Adichie really wanted to be the monitor so she tried hard on the test and she got the highest score. But her teacher forgot to mention that only the boys had a chance. Ever since this day forward, the impact of that has left her perspective of being that women have to work harder for everything than men do.Her moral growth on this is that women and herself don't have to do what everyone expects of one another. About 7 years ago my family added a member and I got to have another older brother, in 2010 my life changed and till this day I believe in family;family doesn't have to be blood related, family is something that one can choose or that 1 person that we can choose to love, support, cherish and welcome into a home.

Which has been my moral growth throughout life.I have a family that I love my mom which her name is Maggie, my dad which his name is Shawn that they are both together, and my 2 older brothers Andrew and Isaiah. All throughout my life when I was a little girl up to about when I was 7 I was at the baseball fields during summer time, all throughout my falls at the football field, and all throughout my winters at the basketball court. I was there to support my 1 older brother Andrew. For 7 years I only had him to support, until one day that my parents noticed a kid named Isaiah that was in my brother Andrew's same class in elementary, and on the same baseball team. Isaiah was very unhealthy, down all the time, rarely was at school, and never had a family to support him at school events or even at sporting events. My family started having Isaiah stay with us, taking Isaiah to school and baseball, and started paying for his things while he was living with his mom who made poor decisions. In the summer of 2010 when I was 6 years old when it was a nice hot summer day my family went to drop him off at his house after a baseball game and his mom was having a huge party in there tiny apartment and locked Isaiah out of the house and wouldn't let him go in the apartment, my family really did care about Isaiah and will always care for him so we

In conclusion, Adichie demonstrates that women are able to achieve anything they put their minds into. This matters because all throughout history and modern day women are constantly put below men as if women are not as intelligent as men. An example is how several Americans picked Donald Trump to be their president instead of Hillary Clinton and it is most likely because she is a female.…

The most impactful thing that happened in my life would probably have to be when my sister was born. The reason this is the most impactful moment is because I couldn’t wait until she would be born. I had two names picked out for her. If she would’ve been a boy I wanted to name her Eric and if she was a girl I wanted to name her Ariel both names from the little mermaid. When she was born, I was really excited one because she was born in the middle of the night so I had a sleepover with my best friend Macey, and two because I was so excited to hold her when I arrived at the hospital the morning she was born.…
