After watching Adichie's ted talk I realized that she had experienced a very memorable pivotal moment in her life. Adichie’s pivotal moment shifts the speaker's perspective and contributes to her moral growth because it's something that she can't forget. In the TedTalk,We Should All Be Feminist Adichie begins speaking about a pivotal moment and states that “men rule the world'. When Adichie was 9 years old in 4th grade her teacher announced that whoever got the highest grade on a test would get to be the class monitor, Adichie really wanted to be the monitor so she tried hard on the test and she got the highest score. But her teacher forgot to mention that only the boys had a chance. Ever since this day forward, the impact of that has left her perspective of being that women have to work harder for everything than men do.Her moral growth on this is that women and herself don't have to do what everyone expects of one another. Which has been my moral growth throughout life.I have a family that I love my mom which her name is Maggie, my dad which his name is Shawn that they are both together, and my 2 older brothers Andrew and Isaiah. All throughout my life when I was a little girl up to about when I was 7 I was at the baseball fields during summer time, all throughout my falls at the football field, and all throughout my winters at the basketball court. I was there to support my 1 older brother Andrew. For 7 years I only had him to support, until one day that my parents noticed a kid named Isaiah that was in my brother Andrew's same class in elementary, and on the same baseball team. Isaiah was very unhealthy,down all the time, rarely was at school, and never had a family to support him at school events or even at sporting events. My family started having Isaiah stay with us, taking Isaiah to school and baseball, and started paying for his things while he was living with his mom who made poor decisions. In the summer of 2010 when I was 6 years old when it was a nice hot summer day my family went to drop him off at his house after a baseball game and his mom was having a huge party in there tiny apartment and locked Isaiah out of the house and wouldn't let him go in the apartment, my family really did care about Isaiah and will always care for him so we
