Obstacles In Life
Life is full of obstacles. Some are hard to get over mentally, and some are hard to get over physically. But we must take the obstacles with a open heart and an open mind.
I have had my fair share of obstacles in my short 14 year life, but two have stood out he most influential in my life then all others. In this essay I'll tell you about the two that have been influential moments in my life.
When I was eight years old my mother had an acoustic neuroma, which is a brain tumor that affects your balance and your hearing. We found out about the tumor when we went to the doctor's office and had us all sit down in his office. He said that the safest thing to do was to take it out. So we did. The surgery went fine but it was after that it all started going downhill.
The doctor said that she was all fine so she could go home.

Which is a disease that causes swelling in the brain. Her meningitis transformed into subritis. That caused 6 strokes that would have killed an 60 year old woman.
I have had my mother now for 6 years now and she is all well. Besides the brain tumor she has now.
Another influential moment in my life is when our house burnt down. It was a painfully cold February night and my family and my cousins were over. We had a roaring fire in the fireplace because it was negative 14 degrees out.
We were having a wonderful time in the living room which is directly across from the dining room. We were watching videos on the TV and enjoying the company of my 7 cousins and my uncle
I went out to the kitchen to get myself a glass of water and when I turned around from the fridge I could not believe my eyes. Like a scene from a horror movie the paint on our fireplace wall. I stood there in shock and when I snapped out of it the wall was engulfed in flames and my dad was yelling my name. He was yelling “JOSEPH GET OUT OF THE HOUSE”.
