Due to the physician shortage in the United States, Physician Assistants (PAs) are taking over the role of a physician, especially in the rural areas of each state. Physician Assistants (PAs) who are considered mid-level providers and are also well known members of the medical field, are known for providing care for patients, and working under the authority of a physician. PAs were first introduced to the United States Health Care around the 1960’s. This profession was created to expand and improve health care for patients.
