Personal Narrative: Going Back To School

I was born in Asheboro, North Carolina. I have lived in North Carolina my entire life. I went to work at my first job when I was sixteen years old and remained there for thirteen years. My second and only other job that I have worked was for twenty-six years. Now the tide is moving in a different direction. After being there for twenty-six years my company decided to move overseas and now I am without a job. They gave me a choice; helping me find another job or sending me to school. Well, I chose to go to school. What was I thinking? Going back to school after thirty years is going to be challenging. When I started my first semester in the summer. I remember that first day as if it were yesterday. It was so nice and warm the birds were singing
