Personal Narrative: From Moving To A New School

I could tell that it was going to be one of those days. Nothing seemed to go right all day. I was mindlessly sitting at my desk when all of a sudden the classroom door swung open and there appeared a girl with long, shiny black hair, black leather boots, silver dangly earrings, a heart locket, and a black bracelet with lots of tiny buttons. She looked like a cross between a goth and a biker who liked to accessorize. Okay I thought. Everyone has their own style. My teacher, Mrs. Piotrowski, started talking to the girl and asking her questions about where she used to live and why she moved to our small town of Westampton, New Jersey. It’s not very often we get a new student, so I was excited to meet the new girl. As my other classmates settled …show more content…
Piotrowski instructed. I lead Miranda out the door and down the hallway. “I like your bracelet!” I began. “Does it light up at random times, or do you make it light up?” “Uhhhh... It lights up at random times.” She answered quickly and nervously. “Thanks Karina, I can find my way back when I’m done.” Miranda rushed into the bathroom, and I immediately grew suspicious. I knew kids got nervous at a new school, but this was different. I could tell Miranda was up to something, and I was going to find out what.

I tiptoed into the bathroom, quite as a mouse. I could hear Miranda talking, but no one else was in there. Who is she talking to? I wondered. The teacher, Mrs. Piotrowski, has assigned me next to this girl Karina, and I can tell she’s smart. I bet you she’ll be on to me.” “If that happens, we’ll just have to eliminate her like the other ones.” replied a deep, scary voice. “Okay. I have to go now. Don’t want anyone becoming

Then, in an instant, I saw Miranda jog up to the custodial closet. She jiggled the doorknob, but it was locked. Ha! I thought, almost not catching what she did next.
Miranda took off her earring and pushed it into the doorknob. Suddenly, the whole knob just disintegrated into the air. Woah! Now I was getting worried. What other gadgets did Miranda have?
She pushed open the door, and as our plan directed, Alek, Gabby, and I zeroed in on Miranda and the closet.
We watched as Miranda slipped off her locket and opened it; revealing a small button. Miranda pressed the button, and out shot a laser. She used the minescule laser to sever a hole in the water pipe. I immediately cued Bella to call to police, just as water started escaping the pipe. We all turned and ran faster than the speed of light, for we knew Miranda would soon be on our path.
Within a couple minutes, dozens of cops were flooding the school. We instantly found the squad captain, and told him all about Miranda’s plan. He signaled about ten officers to go to Ms. Crass’ room to stop the robbery. Just as the officers proceeded, I saw a shadowy figure run by. Miranda! “After her!” I yelled. “That’s the
