In the dark of a moonless night, we were drinking beers at the dam. It was so dark that the only lights we could see are the stars and the lights coming from the hats of fishermen on the other side of the river. All of the sudden, we heard the helicopter coming from the woods around us at the dam. We didn’t know which direction the sound of the helicopter is coming from. Me and my two Egyptian friends didn’t care about it that much but not Cody. Cody eyes got widen. He was scared when he first heard the helicopter. He was so scared like he was caught committing a crime. That worried me and led me started thinking endless possibilities for when’s going on right now. I yelled in Arabic to my Egyptian and told them why is Cody so scared? Is he hiding something? As soon as I fished my sentence, we started to see the helicopter. The helicopter was small. I felt this was going to end badly for us. We ran by the fishermen and I saw the light coming from fishermen hats reflecting on Abba’s bald head. I knew that they were watching us because of it. The light got bigger. The helicopter was above us and was flaying slowing behind us. It scared me more. We kept running and running. I was thinking in my head, we can’t escape from a helicopter. So, I stopped and Abdul stopped with me. Cody and Abba kept running!
