Me and two my Egyptians friends Abba and Abdul and one of our American friends, Cody, who suggested us to go to the dam. It was his idea to go there since we are really bored foreign students and Cody wanted us to get to know the area. We hadn’t gone there before; so, we agreed to go with Cody. They were hiding behind a tree. The helicopter was very close to where they were. We had to get closer to the helicopter because it was the only way out. Cody’s face was still frightened. He couldn’t let us talk to him and he ran again, but this time beside the helicopter. He looked back at us and told us to pretend that we are jogging. Again, without questioning, Abba followed Cody. Abdul screamed asking why you guys are running. I was the only one to respond to him and I said I don’t know just run. Abba screamed joking in Arabic. Run or you are going to Guantanamo, Abba said. As soon as we run or pretending to be jogging, the helicopter took off and chased us. Cody started to run faster. At this moment, I thought maybe we are in a prohibited area. I felt in danger. I felt this was going to end badly for us. We ran by the fishermen and I saw the light coming from fishermen hats reflecting on Abba’s bald head. I knew that they were watching us because of it. The light got bigger. The helicopter was above us and was flaying slowing behind us. It scared me more. We kept running and running. I was thinking in my head, we can’t escape from a helicopter. So, I stopped and Abdul stopped with me. Cody and Abba kept running!
