Personal Narrative Essay: A Break College Kids?
Now I apologize for writing about such a cliche, honestly the phrase itself is synonymous with the word college, followed by ramen noodles, but that 's a different story. Many individuals use the term rather loosely and assume that every college student is in fact broke, but I beg to differ. Durning my time as an undergrad I did not seem to be surrounded by many "broke kids". They were very much well traveled, vehicle owners, Thursday night bar night college students. I mean students completely flooded the courtyard 's Starbucks stand and every auditorium was lit by an aray of Macintosh laptop screens, urban outfitters may as well have sponsored the campus and become dress code. I want to share my experience with being a real broke college kid. When I graduated from high school I wanted to become more self reliant, during my first semester at university we almost lost a family member along with our primary source of income.
After the scare I decided that I no longer wanted to be financially dependent, I didn 't want to worry if I was going to have a penny to my name, or who was going to have extra to help me.
