Personal Narrative: A Life-Changing Ephany

A Life-Changing Epiphany “Speak for the silent, stand for the broken.” These eight words modified how I distinguished myself personally and how I regarded other individuals. Secluded from the world, I lived as a ghost in my own life. Hearing Mike Smith’s speech at a leadership conference revised my understanding of life. Life isn’t about technology or social standing, life is about understanding that each person matters and deserves to be noticed. Wrapped up in their own lives individuals miss the beauty around us each and every day. Consequently, missing the beauties around us include animals, plants and people. By accepting individuals without question the world would grow into a superior, exceptionally peaceful place. The extra reflection, I did on my lack of accepting every individual for whom they remain, I realized that I never accepted my true self, I fought against the real me, to fit in and make friends, but until I listened to the voice of reason inside my head, telling me I remain superior to the facade I put on, I would not become successful. Consequently, I decided I would accept my true self, as well as other individuals. It exceeded the time that I wanted it to but I realized that I remain an amiable type of beauty, continue to matter, I have a purpose in this world and that no one can replace me. The populace should strive to accept themselves and others without judgement or contradictory opinions. We need to stand up for the ghosts in our lives without hesitation every individual person remains a piece to a puzzle that must come together to achieve the common goal of becoming hard working, generous, considerate, and humble. I will further my knowledge of the beauties in the world as I attend the next step in the in the rest of my life,
