By impersonating someone in an effort to elude reality, and synthesize happiness; is that true joy? Generally, that leads into a cycle of despair. That is mainly due to everyone thinking alike, which causes one idea to be procured at a time. If this mindset were to be applied to the beginning of history, everyone one would probably be in the Bronze Age right about now. Another exemplar of this is since everyone is identical, there would be one field of study available. A probable conjuration is that no one would be able to develop their own conscious. In turn, causing everyone to become mindless, and following a select person without any questions.
A counterclaim to my standpoint would involve the idea of no negative social impacts whatsoever. Mostly stemming from everyone becoming normal. But, if everyone is identical, then a dystopian society will arise. From a population that is identical; the average person would be seen as expendable. And of course, no one would retaliate. The aforementioned mindlessness is the reason for this. Bullying would most certainly erode away; with the cost of everyone becoming a tool for the leaders. Bullying would vanish; with the cost of independence. Bullying would cease to be; with the cost of originality.
If that uniqueness that is you is unaffected by society, you’re already an accomplishment. If others have influenced; disregard them and be the self, not what they want you `to be. Heading these words will allow avoidance of an infinite cycle of despair, and causing what could be the next brilliant
