When Pat got an offer to play for another team for more money, he said that he would rather stay with the Cardinals because they took a chance on him when no one else would. Also when Tillman heard about the twin towers crashing he decided that he would go into the military to protect his country. Some of him teammates said, “The better he got, the more humble he got.” Pat proved that this was true when he was getting interviewed and he said that his team played great and he did nothing.
Pat Tillman’s work ethic was what made his career. Without his strong work ethic, he wouldn’t have been drafted into the NFL. Pat was the slowest and the smallest man on the team but that didn’t stop him from trying his best. Pat gave 100% all the time in everything he did. He walked into a 5 year college and told his coach that he would only be there for 4 years. He finished his schooling with a 3.4 GPA. Tillman never gave up, and he never stopped trying his hardest to be the best.
