The whistle sounded and the kid quickly approached the ball. With his quick approach I had less time to react so I just guessed the same way as last time, to the left side. I figured if one them goes left then there is bound to be another shot to the left side. The ball and myself arrived at the corner around the same time and barely got my fingertips on it to push just outside the goal post. I came up clutch with another save! I have plenty of energy which I am sure is sprouting from the adrenaline pumping through my body at the moment. The adrenaline pushed away my nervousness and which allows me to watch the next PK being taken by my team. Brendan was the one taking our PK this time. Seeing him about to take it made me mad. I knew that he was not the best shooter and he could easily put it over the crossbar. That would put the other team right back into this game. But I have no say and it is too late to change who takes it so to be him now. At that moment, the whistle blew and he shot the ball only for it to goal sailing a mile over the crossbar.
