The myths that we “debunked” during lecture are really important. In the beginning we learned how to understand these cases and how to look for other sources to prove them wrong. When we finished reviewing these myths, it left me mindblown! I learned lots of information on how opposites attract, the lie detector test, and different learning styles.
The scientific method is something that we should have learned about in elementary school but we reviewed it again because these are requirements that we need to do when conducting our own experiments in the future. The scientific method consists of : Question, Hypothesis, Research Design, Data Collection, Publication, and Theory Development.

This was an interesting video because it showed what happens when you produce too much dopamine. You basically go on a “high” then have a bad “hangover” later because your brain will stop producing dopamine.
The difference between an FMRI and a MRI. An FMRI is taken when someone is doing an action and we can see all the brain activity going on. A MRI is taken when someone is lying down still and you can see the scans of the brain. I know this is weird, but I found this interesting and important because you can use this technology for experiments and see how people are really feeling.
Brain Organization was a really intense study. The parts of the brain are all grouped into three different parts which are : forebrain, hindbrain, and the midbrain. In these different areas of the brain are more parts of the brain such as the medulla, cerebral cortex, and the hippocampus.
