2.Explain, briefly the science of psychology. The science of psychology is the study of the mental processes and behavior. The mental processes include intelligence, memory and problem solving. While the behavior includes feelings, actions, and biological states. The reason why psychology is considered a science is because they use the scientific methods to test the ideas about behavior.

I will briefly describe three specialty areas, Clinical Psychology, Experimental Psychology and Health Psychology. Clinical Psychology is a specialty area that researches, assesses and treats people who are having trouble functioning or people who have serious mental disorders. Experimental Psychology is a specialty area that focuses their research on perception, motivation, learning, sensation and emotion. Health Psychology is a specialty area that focuses on ways to be able to promote health. The conduct research on topics like exercise, nutrition, diet and choices that influence
