I dialed the number once again, same protocol as the first time, pick up on the first dial, but instead this time, instead of his usual roar, I got a surprisingly mellow “Alright man, what do you want”. I responded with a little rant I had prepared myself, “Listen Mr. Jackson, I’ve called you 7 times now, each time I was not only met with rudeness, but you hung up on me...7 times! He asked for my name afterwards, and we gradually went into a three-hour conversation, not about the form or his insurance policy, but a conversation full of rapport.
