Personal Goal Analysis

My current personal goal is to continue attending Marlboro college. This is an intermediate goal since it fits in in under the rest of my life goals. Continuing to go to a college I am already attending might seem like an easy task but there are a lot of factors that play in this situation, both the ones I can and can’t control. First off, since I am not a U.S. citizen or legal resident, in order to attend college in the U.S. in general I have to have a student visa (F1). I have already taken the masseur in applying for this visa which immigration still hasn’t responded to after well past a year. Which has left me in a pending state. If the answer ever comes, whether it is a yes or no, it is absolutely out of my control. But I have thought …show more content…
Although I have a full tuition scholarship from the school and other smaller ones from outside, considering that I don’t get government funding and my parents help with none of the bills, it is up to me to make sure I am on track with them. The first way I made sure that I was a little bit better set for this year is by signing up for the 20% down payment monthly plan the school has using a third party. I spent the entire summer getting money so I can make the 20% payment. Considering my entire legal issue ‘getting money’ is an entire complication of it’s own. My whole summer 's worth of hard work has gone into that first payment and once the rest of the bill has been divided into eight months of payments starting October 5th, I will have one more scholarship that will come in and lower it but am still in the process of figuring out how I am going to cover for the rest of it. I am currently babysitting the kids of people who work at Marlboro and live close by, but that’s nothing more than pocket money, which doesn’t go into my pocket really. But this mechanism at least buys me time to find other ways, and from what I have learned in life, there’s always a way. Although I do have siblings here that are willing to help as best as they could, which is not much but at least something, I know I have to and want to be as self sufficient as

Personal Statement Almost everyone had a rod in hand as they walked through the main street headed for the pier or docks to try and reel in a tasty morsel for dinner. In my small fishing village surrounded by serene mountains and lush waters, I grew up distant from many of life’s amenities and creature comforts. The main reason why I think that HACC is the best choice for me is because of the cost. The rates per credit are around $250 and that is for in-state residents. The total cost for a commuter would be around $13,750 for a student who is full time, which means they are taking 12 credits per term (Stager). This price of $13,750 includes the price of books, supplies, food, and transportation and it is an average price for all HACC students (HACC.edu). I think that I could easily cut some of the cost by trying to buy my books online for a cheaper price or even eating at home to save a lot of money.…

Keeping my three personal and professional goals realistic, I would have to say a personal goal is to finish school at SNHU with a 3.0 GPA or above. I think a way for me to accomplish this goal is to stay focused on the tasks at hand, maintain a good relationship with my advisors and to utilize some of the tutoring options that are available to me as a student. Another personal goal is to work on myself, mentally. I cannot be a good mom or wife when I have the stress, anxiety and depression that I do. A way to help accomplish this goal is to not only start speaking with a psychiatrist (first appointment is August 4th) but to also have my thyroid checked.…

While college is a vital part of my future plans of earning a bachelor’s degree in both finance and risk management, it is also extremely expensive! God has blessed me with amazing parents. My Dad is self-employed and a 33 year member of the Arkansas National Guard while my Mom is a special education teacher. They have always planned to help with the financial burden of college as long as I earn good grades, maintain any scholarships that I may receive and keep a part time job, but I need scholarships to assist with their effort.
