I am a 22-year-old, African- American, Christian woman from Raleigh, North Carolina. I am currently enrolled full time at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro as a Social Work major expected to graduate in May 2018. I am considered lower middle class currently. The pros for these tasks would be that I would be able to relax and clear my mind of work when I am off the clock. Some cons would be that I could potentially lose time with my family but other than that there are no cons with relieving stress after work. Another potential strategy for not working harder than the client would be to make sure to that I am fully paying attention to my clients’ actions. Pros of this would be that it allows me to acknowledge that I am fully engaged as well as see if they are willing to seek the help without me pushing them to do so. Cons would be that the client does not show any signs of trying to improve their situation and it would lead me to exhausting myself and taking away my ability to fully engage with other clients. Lastly, I would write down a list of the things I can and cannot do prior to meeting with a client. Pros of that would be that I can get a better understanding and already be aware of the dos and don’ts so I know how I can handle certain situations. Cons would be trying to go above and beyond the list even though I am already aware of
