I had no desire to be in Mrs. Brisk’s class, she was older and scarier looking and not the teacher my sister had in third grade. With in days I was proven wrong for not wanting her as my teacher, she was dedicated and cared for each of us. Mrs. Brisk, was kind hearted, caring, and tried her best to make us enjoy learning. She may have not made everything fun, but she did hit home with one thing in particular, she made me want to read, and to better my reading skills. After so many books that she provided, I would be able to gain a prize, a small glass unicorn or a larger glass unicorn or a bright green stuffed bear. I start to want to read, to get the prize, to get better. Multiple days a month I would stay a few hours after school to spend time with Mrs. Brisk and read, gain prizes, and learn. She was a dedicated teacher, who took extra time out of her day to help her students get better. Mrs.Brisk has inspired me to be dedicated to my student, to be the teacher that gets her students to want to read. Rocco. Mrs. Rocco will never be my academic teacher, but she is the teacher of something better than academics, I am her teacher aid and intern. She is Central Christian schools kindergarten teacher. In ninth grade I decided to become a teacher aid and that is the best decision I could have made, for the last four years I have been working by her side. Mrs.Rocco, teaches the kindergarten class from her heart, she loves her students, and want to see them succeed.I have been blessed to be able to watch her teacher a class of five and six year old. I have been able to help prepare lesson, activities, and crafts, to create patterns for projects and read picture books to the students. From her I have learned what being teacher looks like, she has worked side by side with me for the benefit of teaching me to be a teacher. Over four years, she has given me knowledge for teaching, shown me how to teach, given me advice on what to expect, guided me in multiple ways, and allowed me watch her teach. I have learned a teacher need to be organized, kind, caring, and compassionate, they need to be able to engage their class in the lesson, get them to listen and make learning exciting. From my time with Mrs. Rocco I have gained a stronger passion, desire, and dream to teach, grown in knowledge and character. By spending time in the Kindergarten and watching Mrs. Rocco I will try my best to be organized, to engage my class and teach not only
