It would be very beneficial to me because it is so close to home and i wouldn’t have to pay the expenses for a dormitory. Also I want to go to KVCC because of their respiratory program. So I can become a respiratory therapist.
My career goals is to become a respiratory therapist. I want to become this because I remember going to visit my grandma at the hospital. She had respiratory problems. She hadn’t got her treatment yet, and she was struggling to breathe. The respiratory therapist was called and she came in. She was so disappointed her staff didn't give her the treatment she needed. After that my grandma got better and was able to leave and go home. This really impacted me, I want to be able to help people who are struggling to breath, just like my grandmother
