My Behavioral Change Project Is The Best Decisions I Have Ever Made

Choosing to do yoga as my behavioral change project was probably one of the best decisions I have ever made. After quitting color guard freshman year of high school, I stopped stretching; therefore, I was not flexible anymore. Color guard was also a way for me to get away from all my academics. Every year, I would attempt to stretch as I did back in high school, but failed to do so. Every day, I will encounter something that will cause me to stress out, even if it is something little. When I noticed that I was not as active as before, I started to gain weight and that is something that stresses me out the most. Yoga is considered to be one of the best for stress relief and it was a way for me to get back into stretching. By using the S.M.A.R.T goal, it helped me improve and succeed a certain goal each day. The benefits of me not making the chosen behavior change is that I could have more time to work on other things and focus on the body parts I wanted to work on. The factors that influenced this choice of behavior was feeling overwhelmed by school and work. Before all of this, I was working at a restaurant and just started working as an esthetician for eyelash extensions. As school started, I started to feel very stressed from everything and it was barely a few weeks in. I had a lot of things on my mind, such as, figuring my schedule out for everything, keeping my grades up, finishing up my work on time, and working two jobs.
