Today’s culture is obsessed with looking younger, it seems like a contest that many American’s are trying to win. Youth is defined as the time between childhood and adult. Men and women today are willing to do anything possible to look and feel young, regardless of how expensive it can become. Some people tend to spend too much money, or sometimes they risk their own lives. This trend is due to the technological revolution, miracle wrinkle creams or Botox, expensive and sometimes fatal cosmetic surgical procedures. Some people are afraid to get older because they might seem unattractive or will get less attention from others. Every day we are exposed to view ads that show perfection and beauty. It seems like cosmetic surgery is becoming important for the human evolution. This obsession is growing every day it seems convenient and easy for many people that want to look exceptional. People are getting obsess to remain young regardless of the price, risks and consequences. The case of Michael Jackson illustrates that beauty is not always worth, he went into too many cosmetic surgical procedure to change his physical appearance. Unfortunately, not all of the cosmetic surgical procedures have great results, and this is the case of Joan Rivers, she had hundreds of plastic surgical procedures done. The appearance of her face changed a lot and instead of improving her appearance, it looked worse through time. Some people are embarrassed to look older and do everything possible to try to look better, through excessive makeup, the latest haircuts, surgeries absurd clothing, and some other attempts that instead of helping them look better makes them look ridiculous. People should not worry about the wrinkles, the white hair or the imperfections in their faces, instead, they should enjoy every day, and every minute as the
