Deposit a microspatula of NaCL (sodium chloride) into a test tube, and dilute the substance by infiltrating approximately an inch of water to the test tube. Let the NaCL dissolve into the water by shaking the test tube with one’s thumb over the opening of the test tube. Using a dropper, place three drops of 0.1 M AgNO3 (silver nitrate) to the NaCL-water concoction. Document findings.
With scissors, cut a 2 cm magnesium ribbon in half. Set the pieces of magnesium ribbon into a test tube, and instill three drops of 6 M HCL (hydrochloric acid).
