1. Who you are?

Tesla Motors was founded in 2003 by a group of Silicon Valley engineers. In addition to the three electric car models -Roadster, Model S, Model x- that Tesla makes, it offers SuperCharger and BatterySwap services.

The Model S is a four-door premium sedan with a range of 265 miles on a single charge. Designed from the ground up as an electric car, the Model S combines superior vehicle engineering with Tesla's advanced electric powertrain technology.

The Tesla Roadster accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 3.7 seconds. Traveling 245 miles on a single charge, it can be plugged into any conventional electrical outlet.

2. How do you define yourself in the market?

"Tesla isn't just a car, or even a brand in the sense that nearly every other for-profit company is a brand...It's actually the ultimate mission -- the mother of all missions -- and that is, to wean our planet off its addiction to fossil fuels, helping to create a long-term sustainable society; one that our grandchildren can enjoy and be proud of." Tesla believes that its operational infrastructure provides it with a competitive advantage compared to traditional automobile manufacturers. [2] When it comes to customer satisfaction, owners of the Model S gave the vehicle 99 out of 100 possible points in a Consumer Reports survey. [4]

Tesla’s objective is to create the most compelling car company of the 21st century by driving the world’s transition to electric vehicles and to expand the Tesla’s vehicle market geographically.

The CEO of the company, Elon musk states in the company overview “Our goal when we created Tesla a decade ago was the same as it is today: to drive the world’s transition to electric mobility by bringing a full range of increasingly affordable electric cars

Tesla Motors is putting its fullest potential to create innovative changes in cars. They are not only putting their efforts in marketing their product but also making them enough great and attractive that customers are looking forward them only. This is why I bet that Tesla Motors is the future of car industry and you will witness it very soon.

Tesla Motors back in 2013 has determined to produce an electric car which could cost only 40,000 dollars in 2015. One year more to go and you will be driving a low priced car with high performance. With the introduction of Model X, Tesla plans to double its production in 2014 (which comes out to be 42,000).
