Tesla Motors is taking the world by storm. Cofounder and CEO Elon Musk has helped the company be one of the most talked about motor vehicle company. A major focal point of Tesla is to produce environmentally friendly cars that are also tech savvy. Starting as a small company back in 2003 Tesla has since grown exponentially thanks to Elon Musk. He is a mastermind when it comes to marketing and bringing in funds. Tesla Motors is a motor vehicle company that is different from the rest. They provide much more environmentally friendly cars with next level technology, and they market themselves in very unique ways and therefore their success in the stock market will continue to grow.

In fact, Tesla even produces some other products to help the environment such as solar panels and things of that nature. “Today, Tesla builds not only all-electric vehicles but also infinitely scalable clean energy generation and storage products. Tesla believes the faster the world stops relying on fossil fuels and moves towards a zero-emission future, the better” (Tesla 2017). They are working hard to reduce the CO2 emissions produced by the people and they also produce products that help one harness energy from renewable sources like the wind, water, and the sun. This truly puts them one step ahead of their competitors. They care more about the environment and have the technology to make the cars safer for the Earth. None of their competitors sell solar panels along with cars to help reduce emissions and leave less of a carbon footprint. They keep themselves in the news by always setting some sort of record or making bold claims, such as the most recent one that a Tesla Roadster will be sent into space as a part of Musk’s SpaceX program. This had social media buzzing with talks of a Tesla vehicle being sent into outer space. Also, they made headlines when they said they produced the first self-driving vehicle. And again, they were being talked about when the news first broke about the 2020 Roadster and all the records that it had broken such as the 0-60, 0-100, and it is set to become the fastest production model car. So, they consistently set new standards for motor vehicle world in the aspect of being environmentally friendly, having such advanced technology, and producing unprecedentedly fast and safe vehicles. No matter where one is on their website at the bottom of the screen is always the option to purchase one of their vehicles. When visiting competitors’ websites, it is seen they do not do the same thing. Tesla’s success has only continued to go up after their stock became public in 2010. Their stock opened at $19.20 a share on July 2nd, 2010 and now they are worth $305.20 a share as of December 4th, 2017.
