Mayer is a smart woman in her specialization which needs a high mental activity. Her capabilities justify her movement through different and high positions in short time in Google then Yahoo. She was chosen a standout as the most influential of women in the world and according to Fortune 500 list, named her as the youngest executive director. She characterized as workaholic who would like to make change and exploiting opportunities. She joined the company in very sensitive condition. So No one thought Marissa Mayer confronted a simple challenge. Yet, almost four years into her residency, the benefits proceed to decline. And Fortune published an article where she considered one of the world's 19 most disappointing leaders in 2016 due to her wrong strategy and policies. One of method she used is to talk less and listen more. This method let her to take time where the chance may loss. One of the principal things a recently situated CEO needs to handle is building trust over company' associates, however especially with the workforce. Similar strategy may not work on various conditions. At Google, she was a successful and accomplished several development in products and her career life. On the other hand implementing is different from reconstructing a vision and strategy like Yahoo. It requires a totally unique ability set. In addition, Mayer as bureaucratic leader, i learned that putting strategies to follow is important to keep all employees and the company in the right track. However, you should have plenty of time to consternate on choosing the right strategy. Some decisions we should avoid like working at home as studies supported, people become more productive.
