This is not fair for the students who aren’t as smart or are a different race from the majority of the school. What teachers need to do is help that person out and focus more on the students who don’t have a very good education. They also need to work on talking to the principle or the superintendent of the school district to get the district back to where it all began where no one was separate. After the Brown v. Board of Education was ruled the tracking system essentially translated into a form of resegregation. Those with money and resources could game the system to ensure that their kids tested into higher-level classes, and poorer children, many of them were black, were left behind in the lower-level classes. That is also not fair because that is also separation. Separation is not fair to anyone. I know I wouldn’t want to be separate from all the others because I was poor or a different race.
