The loss of integrity can occur in any environment, therefore, leaders need to be aware of their actions. The famous collapse of U.S.-based Enron Corporation, a leader in energy, natural gas, communications and pulp and paper with more than 20,000 employees is famous to many people. The headship at Enron was found to have systematically engaged in accounting fraud and corruption, which was supported by the Arthur Anderson accounting and consulting firm. If I were to be in a leadership position it is important to build trust with my teams I work with and depend on. Trust grows through meaningful interaction with one’s team and developing trust while leading with integrity will increase the confidence others have in their leaders work. Being a leader with integrity makes one incorruptible and incapable of breaking the trust of those who have confided in
