Integrity In The Things They Carried 'And Cathedral'

Leadership and integrity goes, hand-to-hand; one cannot succeed in a leadership role without having strong integrity. Integrity is one of the most important character traits of a respected leader; this skill consist of being able to take responsibility for your own actions, honest, and have pride in your beliefs. Skills that makes a person a leader is having good communication skills, bravery, and having a vision/goal. If people cannot count on their leader to conduct himself of herself with high ethical standards and with honesty, how can you trust them to be a leader? In this paper I will address Abraham Lincoln Second Inaugural Address, and John F. Kennedy had leadership qualities that moved the whole nation. John F. Kennedy had shown his leadership qualities when he led his troops into battle and brought them safely home. Kennedy not only had the ability to make tough decisions in the most difficult situations; he also give America’s the sense of security knowing he could and would protect the country. Giving the American people a sense of security. I feel this was Kennedy’s best leadership and integrity trait, protecting his country and holding all the burden himself. Kennedy shown his bravery when he stood his ground and set up a naval blockade that deterred Cuba from launching their missiles into the United States after Cuba threatened the United States.
