Learning is a procedure that involves hard work and dedication; nevertheless, this process becomes exponentially easier when the correct learning style is utilized. Distinguishing the strengths that are possessed not only helps with the perception of oneself, but it can also lead to the mindfulness of ones abilities. Implementing every learning style into a lecture is not only problematic for the instructor, but it can also make students lose attention because of the classes’ repetitive nature. Instructors should find the “happy medium” between stubbornly employing only one learning technique and drearily executing every style of learning in a lecture. When this compromise is met, students will undeniably pay closer attention thus achieving a higher grade. According to educational theorist David Kolb, "It is more effective to design curriculum so that there is some way for learners of every learning style to engage with the topic, so that every type of learner has an initial way to connect with the material " (Kolb 31).
