Introducing diversity management With increasing globalization and migration, organizations continue to interact among people from diverse backgrounds. Most workplaces are made up of diverse cultures and valued as a reflection of a changing marketplace and world (Green, Lopez ——, 2015). Multinational organizations must be aware of cultural sensitivities and provide adequate training for managers, with a focus on how to communicate with persons from diverse cultures. While change can be difficult, organizational leaders and managers must respect the ways in which the workplace is changing and evolving. Multinational organizations developing effective strategies for diversity training and development within the workplace see this as a significant organizational change. Diversity within a team offers a complex challenge because it has both the potential to improve and to disturb team performance. This report used research from six published reviews and empirical studies. The goal of this report is to identify the opportunities and challenges through various methods in which multinational organizations approach diversity (U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, 2004).
