The growth of technology has sparked a new addiction all across the globe. Many youths have suffered from the epidemic of Internet Addiction Disorder, commonly known as Problematic Internet Use. Although the internet can be utilized for education, it makes things too easy for us. “While we used to have to think about things and actually come up with answers on our own, today whenever we need answers we just type the question into a search engine and press Enter.” (Price NP) The internet is too easy to get addicted too and can cause serious consequences on everyday life.
The internet, of course, has positive sides to it. Internet users can access international libraries, museums and schools for a wide range of information.
