I always had believed that the decisions politicians made on bilingual education were based more than just linguistic barriers, and even when sociological and psychological studies have also conducted the outcome of these policies is still very weak and in that also very consistent. I never understood why teachers were constantly observed by superintendents and principals. Now it's beginning to make sense. It's a pattern and a consistent one. Instead of the government and school systems facilitating resources for our school to provide the proper bilingual education we are faced with constant struggles. The film we previously watched makes me realize how long this has been going on. Yes, at the end of the film they proved they were capable of passing the college credit exam, but they shouldn't have been faced with that alternative, but society couldn't believe with that the resources they were provided they were able to achieve such high scores.
