There can be a lot said about a person or family who travels through thick and thin to reach a point in their life, where they can finally say they are grateful to have finally made it. But the journey, where they have to go through, is something extraordinary. The fact that these people have been labeled as an "illegal immigrant" or "illegal alien" is an insult to them. The definition of an illegal immigrant is defined as: "A foreigner who has entered or resides in a country unlawfully or without the country 's authorization" (Dictionary). However, the term "illegal" itself dehumanizes the person and unlawfully charges them instantly for a crime that needs them to be punished for. Labeling them as a criminal to their friends, families, and towards the rest of society. Yet, many critics state that they as a whole have been ruining American values and privilege just with their existence. Stating that their presence alone has been blatantly ruining the economy, stealing job/opportunities to those who are a born citizen and have been adding to the number of crimes that have occurred in the U.S. When in fact, most undocumented residents each have a different set of skills, which encourages them to actually have a suitable balance between the salary that is made between someone who is a native and foreigner. Plus a correlation between the amount of jobs that have been received by native and foreign workers, as they noticed that it had increased by 4% since 1994 to 2004. (NBER).…
