With many studies that have been found that a male’s lifestyle he chooses can affect his sperm reproduction the evidence is not really at its fullest potential. Now the way this study was conducted was by have males 18 and above who were part of a couple who has been having unprotected intercourse. With the 1970 participants over a 37 month period in the United Kingdom, only four percent came back as normal performance sperm (Human Reproduction). The study was funded by the UK Health and Safety Executive. A reason why 96% was not fully functional was because the male could have lifestyles with alcohol, tobacco, or even recreational drugs in their system also known as marijuana.
