Communication is very important in the setting for the children and the staff. An example could be if the practitioner asked the child to put something away the practitioner would know if the child doesn’t understand them. Talking to the child’s parents about what the child has done in pre-school is good because it shows that the child has had a productive day. If a child has a speech problem, the child would be able to show you through their facial expression.
