Research paper topic Job hiring process When looking for a job it can be confusing and even downright puzzling at times. It is hard trying to apply for a job that you don’t know what the title means or even if you’re qualified for, thus bringing a mountain of frustration and even a sense of anger. Sometimes the hardest part of the whole job searching process is when you have to answer specific questions about yourself to a total stranger who is essentially judging you for the job opening. This essentially the most important part of the application process in my mind because it shows a company acknowledges the need and want to hire someone to fill a void in the company. After the acknowledgement is over, it gives the company a clear cut way of exactly how they are going to fill this void through the other hiring phases.
The next step in the application and hiring process is the job description and analysis. The job description is written up by the HR department with the exact specifics from senior leadership on what they want and need. They get the job description through a job analysis. A job analysis includes examining the tasks and sequences of tasks necessary to perform the job. The analysis considers the areas of knowledge and skills needed for the job. The job description is a list that a person might use for general tasks, functions, and responsibilities of a position. It often includes who the position reports to, specifications such as qualifications or skills needed by the person for the job. The job description may also include potential earnings for applicants that are looking to see if this position is competitive throughout the job market offerings.
